It is planned to have gas bottles available once more on the site over the weekend. Toilets/Showers
In early 2001, we refurbished the shower blocks and the troublesome pumps from before, so that there was plenty of hot running water for everyone all week. We also improved disabled access, and installed a number of extra conveniences across the site for all to use during the 2001 show. 2004 has seen another refurbishment, with vast improvements.
Toilets, Toilets and more Toilets
The
War and Peace Team are more than aware of the problems experienced at
last years show with the toilet facilities and would like to put to rest
any concerns that visitors and exhibitors to the show may have.
This year the problem has been addressed and twice as many portable toilet facilities have been booked - with many more attendants. A different company have been sourced to provide toilets at all Hop Farm shows and they have so far proved very successful, with better quality facilities and much stronger support.
The logisitics of putting on a show like the War and Peace Show are immense and unfortunately we did feel let down by the suppliers we hired last year.
Therefore a lot of time and effort has been spent to ensure there is no repeat of the issues that occurred, including a renovation of the existing shower blocks.
Additionally, the whole of the Kitcheners Bar has been completely refurbished. We have now doubled the size of the existing toilet facilities as well as a new disabled facility.
The War and Peace Show is world renowned as a fantastic event and the organisers are determined to ensure it stays that way on all levels.
