History of Hobby - When and where did you start and how did you arrive where you are to-day?

How long have you been involved with War & Peace and in what capacity?

I bought a GMC 353 in July 1999 and visited the July War and Peace Show that year, but without the truck. I joined the IMPS in the following year, and this time brought the truck with us! I also bought a Willys Jeep just after the show - that's a whole story by itself! in 2001, we attended the War and Peace show with the truck AND the Jeep, and had a fantastic time as usual!

I have been to the show as a member of the public once, and with the vehicles twice. I've also "worked" at the show once. I was secretary for the IMPS, West Kent area, for a short time until ill health forces me to "hand in my notice", but I'll definitely be at the 2002 show and looking forward to it already! I know my involvement with the show has only been for a very short time compared with most people, but hopefully I'll be allowed to put in a good few years yet!!

As for how I got involved... it just sort of happened!!
