I collect militaria from the French and Rhodesian armies and air forces, from WWII to the conflict in Algeria, and the Rhodesian War.

History of Hobby - When and where did you start and how did you arrive where you are to-day?

How long have you been involved with War & Peace and in what capacity?

I bought a Jeep, having always wanted one. I was subsequently introduced to military vehicle shows, and then to the IMPS. I was interested in doing something slightly different, so I researched French activities in Algeria, with a slight change in direction to Rhodesia during the last two years.

I first attended War and Peace in 1993 and I haven't missed one since! A desire to present a variation in Military Police presence prompted me to volunteer my services in 1998, and since then, Hobo and I have enjoyed our duties at the main gate, meeting and greeting the public and answering their questions.

Meet Hobo here
