Canadian military vehicles, a Mk 1 Otter, Chevrolet, 1940s fashion shows and military models were other events going on for Saturday. There was the largest peacetime gathering of Canada's fighting vehicles since WWII, presented by the Maple Leaf Up team with Geoff Winnington-Ball and James Baxter...
There were
all sorts of Canadian vehicles at the show, and they were literally queueing
around the block to join the event in the arena...

Saturday afternoon
was also an opportunity to see another of the 1940s fashion shows...
Modelling uniforms to civilian wear, day dresses to evening gowns and dinner suits, the models even walked through the audience so that we could all get a closer look.
With authentic period dress supplied by some of the stallholders, and 1940s style clothes made especially for the occasion, it was another excellent show...
When the explosions
in the arena and the jive music in the Miller Tent became a little too
much, people flocked to the Modellers' marquee, sponsored by "Military
Modelling" magazine, to marvel at the miniature masterpieces...
